You know what's missing. A client onboarding workflow that doesn't exist yet. A Notion workspace that actually fits how you think. An automation that would save you hours a week. The hard part isn't naming the gap, it's finding someone who can build it around how you actually work, not retrofitted from a template.

A Project Build is a fixed-scope engagement with an operations and business systems builder who can scope, design and build the system from the ground up. Defined scope, clear deliverable, clear finish. Before I build anything, I spend time understanding how you think, how the business operates right now and where things are getting stuck. That's what makes the systems I build stick when previous attempts haven't.

When it's done, you own everything. Full documentation, a handover session and a system you can run without me.

I'm Steph Redi. Ten years in corporate operations and five as the operational right hand to a senior executive, which is where I learned to build systems that fit how a business actually works, not how it's supposed to work in theory. That's the difference between something that sticks and something that gets abandoned three weeks in.

How it works

01 Book a free discovery call Thirty minutes, no obligation. We talk through what you're looking to build, what you've already tried and what good looks like for you.
02 Research phase A paid scoping phase that turns a rough idea into a build plan. I audit how things work now, identify the gaps and write a build plan with weightings per scope item so you know exactly what's being built, in what order and why. Two rounds of revisions included before we lock it in.
03 Build phase With the research signed off, I build the system alongside you, not in isolation. You see progress as it happens, give feedback as we go and learn how it works while it's being built.
04 Handover Full documentation, a handover session and the system in your hands. You own everything and you'll know how to maintain it without me.

When your client onboarding lives in your head, every new client costs you more time than it should and creates more anxiety than it needs to. A properly built onboarding system means your clients get a consistent, professional experience every time, without you manually driving each step. This covers your intake and inquiry workflow, welcome sequence, contract and invoice delivery, onboarding task structure and a clean offboarding process.
If your Notion is a graveyard of half-built databases and abandoned templates, you're not alone. Notion's strength is also what makes it hard to set up well, and that's where working with an experienced Notion consultant pays off. A properly built Notion workspace should work the way your brain does, not the way a YouTube tutorial assumed you would. This can range from a focused build for one area of your business through to a full business operating system covering your CRM, project management, SOP library and reporting.
Automation is most useful when it removes decisions and steps that don't need you. Not when it adds complexity to something that was already working. As a business automation consultant working with founders across Australia, I build single and multi-workflow automations using Make, n8n or Zapier depending on what fits your setup. Common builds include inquiry triage, task creation, reporting, social publishing and AI-assisted content workflows.
Showing up consistently on social media is hard when you're building everything manually. A content system removes the manual overhead by giving your ideas somewhere to live, your content a clear path to publishing and your workflow enough structure that you're not starting from scratch every week. This can include your content calendar setup, publishing workflows and automation to move content from planned to published across your platforms.
If the only reason something gets done correctly is because you're the one doing it, your business has a single point of failure. SOPs fix that. They make delegation possible and make it easier to bring on contractors or team members without starting from scratch every time. This covers process mapping, plain-language documentation and a searchable library your team can actually use.
For founders who need everything connected. A complete operational foundation that brings together your CRM, project management, SOPs, client workflows and reporting into one coherent system, with automation built in where it genuinely helps. This is typically the right scope for founders who are preparing to hire, bring on contractors, or move out of the day-to-day delivery of their business.

Investment

Custom priced.

Each project is scoped individually and priced on application. Your actual investment is confirmed in your proposal after the discovery call and the research phase, once I understand exactly what needs to be built.

All prices AUD, ex-GST. GST not currently applied. Timeline: 2 to 8 weeks depending on scope and complexity.

How payment works

The research phase is paid upfront. The build is split into two payments: 50% on written approval of the research and build plan, 50% on completion within 7 days of handover sign-off.

This is for you if

✓You know what needs fixing and you want an experienced operator to build it with you.
✓It's one specific system you need built, not a full operations overhaul.
✓You've already tried to fix it yourself and it hasn't stuck.
✓You want actual implementation, not just advice on what to do.
✓You're prepared to be involved during the build (this isn't a hand-it-off-and-disappear engagement).

How to know if it's the right starting point

If you need ongoing support and the issues are across multiple areas of the business, the Monthly Retainer is a better fit. If you're not sure exactly what to build first, book a free discovery call and I'll help you work out the right entry point.

Book my free discovery call Thirty minutes, no obligation. We'll talk through your project and work out whether I'm the right person to build it.

What happens after the build

The handover is the end of the project, not the end of the relationship. When the build wraps up, you have a fully documented system you can run yourself. From there, founders go one of a few ways.

You run with it

The whole point of how I build is that you can. Full documentation, handover session, no dependency on me to keep things running.

You add a second build later

Many founders come back for a second project when something else surfaces. Each build is scoped on its own and priced on its own.

You move to a retainer

If the build surfaces more structural work and you'd rather have ongoing support than another one-off project, the Monthly Retainer is where that happens.

Project Builds questions

A Project Build is a custom systems build with a defined scope, a clear deliverable and a clear finish. I design and build the system around how your business actually operates, then hand it over with full documentation so you can run it without me. Typical builds are client onboarding systems, Notion workspaces, automation workflows and SOP libraries for service-based founders across Australia.
A discovery call is a free 30-minute conversation where we talk through what's going on in your business, what you've already tried and what you're looking to build or fix. There's no obligation to proceed. At the end of the call I'll tell you honestly whether I think I can help, what that might look like and if I'm not the right fit, I'll point you somewhere that is.
Most builds take between 2 and 8 weeks depending on scope and complexity. A focused single-system build, like a client onboarding workflow, sits at the shorter end. A full business operating system with multiple automations and documentation takes longer. Timeline is confirmed in your proposal after the discovery call and research phase.
Notion is my primary tool and area of deep expertise, but I'm not exclusively Notion. I work in whatever system fits the founder, whether that's ClickUp, Asana, Dubsado or something else. For automations I build in Make, n8n or Zapier depending on what fits your setup and budget. I also work across Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and I build AI-powered workflows using tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini where they genuinely add value. The operations thinking is the skill, not the platform. If you're already using a specific tool and want to build within it, that's usually where we start.
It means I spend time understanding how you think and operate before I build anything. Most systems fail because they're built for how someone assumes a business should work, not how it actually does. Before I write a single SOP or build a single workflow, I map your working style, your existing processes and where things are getting stuck. The result is a system that fits your brain. Not something you have to force yourself to use.
Yes, and that's a non-negotiable part of how I work. Every build includes full documentation and a handover session so you understand what's been built, why and how to maintain it. You own everything. I'm not building something that requires me to keep it running. If you want ongoing support after the build, that's what the Monthly Retainer is for.
AI tools are a genuine part of how I work and part of what I build, where they add real value. That might mean AI-assisted content workflows, automated decision routing, AI tools that help with drafting or categorising, or building AI governance policies for your business so you're implementing it responsibly. What I won't do is add AI to something because it sounds impressive. Every tool, AI or otherwise, has to earn its place in the system by making something genuinely easier or more reliable. If it doesn't do that, it doesn't go in.
Each project is scoped individually and priced on application, so there's no published starting figure. Your actual investment is confirmed in your proposal as either a fixed price or a capped range, after the discovery call and the research phase. Payment is structured in three parts: the research phase is paid upfront, 50% of the build fee is invoiced on written approval of the research and build plan, and the remaining 50% is invoiced on completion, due within 7 days of handover sign-off. All prices AUD, ex-GST. GST not currently applied.
The research phase is a paid scoping engagement that turns a rough idea into a build plan you can sign off on. It includes an audit of how the relevant parts of your business work now, a gap analysis between where you are and where you want to be and a documented build plan with weightings per scope item so you understand exactly what's being built, in what order and why. Two rounds of revisions on the findings and plan are included before we lock it in. Research is paid upfront and is non-refundable once delivered, because the deliverable (the audit, gap analysis and build plan) has value on its own, even if you decide not to proceed with the build.
Scope changes happen, and they're handled with a formal change order. That means an updated scope, an adjusted investment and a revised timeline, all in writing and signed off by both of us before the new work begins. Scope changes are never absorbed silently. You'll always know what's being added, what it costs and what it does to the timeline before any work starts.
All three are automation tools that connect your apps and move information between them without you doing it manually. The differences come down to cost, complexity and flexibility. Zapier is the most beginner-friendly and the most expensive at scale. Make is more powerful and more affordable than Zapier, and handles complex multi-step automations well. n8n is the most flexible of the three and can be self-hosted, which means lower ongoing costs at higher volumes, though it has a steeper learning curve. Which one is right for your business depends on what you need to automate, your budget and how much you want to be able to manage it yourself. I'll recommend the right one after understanding your situation.
